This event has a capacity of 10 people. Registration will close once the limit is reached.
๐ About this event ๐
This event is a gathering that celebrates neurodiversity (differences in brains and nervous systems).
For example,โจpeople with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental health conditions, and people without them,โจare all welcome.
We respect each personโs differences as they are.
We also aim to build a society where everyoneโs rights are better protected.
โพ๏ธ What we will do โพ๏ธ
โขPride Flag MakingโจWe will draw symbols like the infinity sign on fabric and create a flag.
โข Creative ExchangeโจWe will show and look at Zines (small booklets) and other neurodiversity-related works and goods.
โข Walk TimeโจWe will take a short walk nearby while carrying the flags we made.
๐ซYou do not need to join everything.โจYou can join only the parts you feel able to.

For people who have difficulty speaking or listening โ๏ธ
Paper and pens will be available
UD Talk app can be used (may not be perfect)
For wheelchair users โฟ๏ธ
The building is on the 4th floor, but wheelchair access is possible
There is a small step at the entranceโจThe toilets are not wheelchair accessible
The nearest wheelchair-accessible toilet is inside Koenji Station
Nearby convenience stores also have toilets that may be usable
For people who have difficulty seeing or reading ๐ฃ๏ธ
We can provide reading support and explanations
For people coming with children ๐ถโจStaff who are used to being with children will be present
We can also stay nearby and support together

1. Please donโt judge someoneโs gender, nationality, disability, etc., based on how they look or what language they use.โจPlease call people by their names or pronouns they want to be called.โจIf you forget someoneโs name or donโt know it, itโs okay to ask.
2. Discrimination is not allowed.โจMany kinds of discrimination happen unintentionally. please be mindful of each other.
3. Please donโt take photos that include other people without their permission.
4. If you want to talk about something that might be triggeringโlike abuse, sexual violence, or suicidal thoughtsโplease check in with the people around you first.โจSay something like, โIs it okay if I talk about this?โโจIf you donโt want to listen to a topic, you can say no.
